Hola everyone,
Are we disappointed? Of course we are. Are we sad? Of course we are a bit sad, but life goes on! There are worse things in life and now we have a reason to come back and watch another launch. On the other hand, I am happy because Anik can stay longer. If the launch goes on this Sunday, she will see it live.
To distract the kids today, we first went to the American Space Museum in Titusville. A tiny museum, but lovely. An American volunteer told us stories about the Atlas launches and all the space shuttles. Felien could launch the Discovery.
After the museum visit, we went on a boat trip. We saw dolphins, manatees, pelicans and at the end, all the kids could steer the boat. We ended the day with ice cream, karting and alligators.
Meanwhile I have heard my 4C class is working hard to complete the missions, miss you boys and girls.
